This tote bag was announced in the 2nd collection in 2024.

This bag, based on the concept of "unfinished," was created based on the designs of the basilica tote (created in 2014) and cut off tote (created in 2017), which were previously used as designs.

The basilica tote is just the right size to store A4-sized documents and a laptop. The bag has a large capacity and can be used both on and off the job.

In addition, by using the leather flap cover used in the cut off tote as a cover, you can protect the contents of the bag without using a zipper. You can also place a plastic bottle, a cardigan, a jacket, etc. on top of the flap cover.

A small space has been created in the stitching of the flap cover, allowing you to take out and put in small items and smartphones without opening and closing the cover. This little idea makes it easier to use and reduces stress when using it.

This is the first time we are using this leather. It is made from cowhide using a new tanning method called zeolite tanning.

Zeolite is a type of mineral discovered in Iceland in 1756 and is also called zeolite in Japan. Zeolite tanning is characterized by its excellent biodegradability, and will biodegrade in a few months under favorable soil conditions. If it is buried in the soil after use and allowed to biodegrade, it will greatly contribute to reducing CO2 emissions when incinerated.

This time, we added vegetable oil to give the leather a natural fine grain and transparency, and a little tannin to give it a texture, giving it a soft texture.
