A collaboration model with the London brand By Walid. By Walid's signature 19th century manufactured various Chinese silks are arranged by patchwork. We provided a pattern for use in tote bags that have been available since 2014, had the fabric cut in London, and sewed and produced it by Iwanaga himself. This design is a model inspired by the basilica style used as an architectural technique. The basilica style is the arch-shaped ceiling that is seen in churches, and the beauty of the arch is incorporated into the details and design of the bag.
At first glance, it is a simple tote bag, but I made it with the image that the extension of the diagonal cut that is given as the design of the bag leads to the arch of the handle. If you attach the left and right snap buttons on the inside of the bag, it will change to a hexagonal shape. Please enjoy changing the shape according to your clothes and styling.
Crocodile leather is used for the leather part. The complex and unique Chinese silk pattern, which is a complete piece, goes well with a simple tote bag and can be used as the leading role in coordination.
Comes with a small crocodile leather pouch.
* Silk is reinforced with sashiko, but silk is a very delicate material. Please handle with care.
* The color scheme of the photos is 1st to 12th green and 13th to 24th navy. When purchasing, please be careful not to make a mistake in the color. Since it is a single item, you cannot specify the color scheme.
